After completing the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Technology, learners may choose various pathways to continue professional development. Registration with the General Dental Council is essential in order to practice as a Dental Technician in the UK. Learners may progress into Higher Education; there are several institutions in the UK delivering the BSc (Hons) in Dental Technology.
